I was making caramel corn and puppy chow with Mom, standing all day, eating a huge helping of spaghetti, while Shawn & I tried to convince Tank that he needed to come home with us instead of staying with Grandpa and Grandma.  Well that last effort proved fruitless so he stayed with papa and that was a good thing.....  As little did we know that the next morning someone would decide he wanted to make his appearance into this world.....

Ear Infections...

Yep, Noah has an ear infection.  So no flu shot for him yet.  But at least he gets to take that awesome bubble gum flavored medicine!  Oh how I miss the days of taking that instead of pills...  He is in good spirits so at least we caught it before it got really bad.  Hopefully by the end of the weekend he'll be feeling much better.  :)  One can hope right?

HI!!!!!!!!!!

Noah said his first word yesterday!!! And it was "Hi!" He was waving at himself and just said it. LOL! It was at daycare, but then when we picked him up last night he said it in front of us too!

Of course I kept on trying to get him to say it again and get video of it on my cell phone, but no dice. Figures. With all of the other "talking" he does, I'm sure more words will start to appear. He already says something like "mama", but it's not quite there yet.

My little boy is getting to be so big!

Coffee Table 1 - Noah 0

We have our first shiner! LOL! The coffee table came up and bit Noah in the face last night. He's bonked his head and other parts of himself on loads of things already and barely shed a tear. But this time, it was full blown, trying to catch my breath sobs. And an instanteous black & blue mark too. Thankfully he needed a bath last night and that always cheers him up, so the sobs were short lived.

I tried to take a picture of him this morning with his "shiner", but the flash was a bit too bright. You can kind of see it. It's underneath his left eye.

Main Street U.S.A.!!!

We've been back for about a week now, but I came down with the cold bug so it's been a miserable week.  So hence my delay in our trip recap!

Noah and I had a WONDERFUL time!!!  Thank you to Stephen & Marilyn for a lovely dinner on Friday night.  It was so nice to see you guys and have you be able to meet Noah!  Thank you to Shira, Chris, Gemma, & Rich for taking such good care of us that weekend!  We had so much fun and I can not WAIT until next time!!!

Noah was such a trooper!  He did really well and I must say so did I for being a single parent that weekend.  Gold stars for both of us!  LOL!  Not only was it Noah's first time to WDW, but it was my first time down there for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival.  And man, did we eat our selves silly on Saturday night!  Despite the not so normal heat/humidity (it was 94 on Sunday and about 200% humidity) it was a very nice weekend for FL weather.  A little bit o rain, but nothing to spoil the entire day!

Noah's very first ride was The Seas with Nemo & Friends.  He LOVED it!  Shira, Gemma, and I all squeezed into the clamshell with Noah on my lap.  It gets a little dark on this ride, but Noah did not mind it at all.  After we spent the rest of our time at EPCOT wandering the World Showcase stuffing our faces with food, and dancing around to the music.  [the boys did roll their eyes at us on some occasions]  Shira got Noah to sleep and we ended the night with a quick pitstop into a gift shop and a picture in front of Spaceship Earth with all of us.

Sunday the girls & I took Noah to Magic Kingdom.  Our first stop was to get Noah his very first pair of Mickey Ears and have them embroidered with his name.  After that we were able to get him to keep them on for about oh... 10 minutes.  LOL!  That boy does NOT like to wear hats.  We got to watch the Main Street performers and they all kept on coming up to Noah and say "oh you're so cute!"  well he did fine until the last group.  That time it freaked him out.  It was pretty funny, but I think you had to be there.  We took him on Cinderella's Carousel and he absolutely loved it!  We also took him on It's a Small World.  After that he got sleepy so I got him changed into something cooler and then he completely passed out while I was holding him as we were in line for Haunted Mansion.  Minus 2 times he woke up, hollered for 5 seconds each time (I would too if the lap bar squished my tush).  He slept through the entire ride and then some.  We had lunch at the Plaza restaurant and then decided to try to get to see Mickey in ToonTown before we had to leave.  Well, it was a 90 minute wait to see the mouse, so we said NO WAY!  On our way out, Shira called the WDW dining line and was able to get me a reservation at Cape May Cafe the next morning (the day we left) so Noah could at least meet some characters.  We headed over to Downtown Disney for a bit of shopping & to meet up with some others.  After that we spent the rest of the evening at Chris' mom's house for taco night!  It was a very nice way to end our trip.  Just relaxing with friends.

Noah and I had a really good time at breakfast the next morning.  He did pretty well with the characters.  He wasn't too sure about Goofy, but he liked Minnie & Donald!  The characters were so nice, they sat down at our table with us to get down to Noah's level and interacted with him.  It was wonderful!  We also made a quick pitstop at Ariels so I could get a picture of Noah under the sign as that is where Shawn & I had our reception.  :)  Ahhhh....  Memories!

It was a great trip and I am so thankful to Shawn for sending us there.  I wish he would've been there with us, but we are going next year for thanksgiving.  So we have that to look forward too.  And it'll be a longer trip so we'll get to see everything we want to (most likely).  Especially the holiday stuff!!

Check out our pictures from the trip!  Click on the Our Pictures link on the right and then head on over to the WDW Trip album.

T-Minus 2 Days!!!!!

The excitement is building!!!  Only 2 more days and Noah & I will be off to the house of Mouse!  :D  For a fun filled weekend with some pretty great friends!  I am so excited to take him there!  But I'm sad Shawn won't be with.  That will just make next years trip even more incredible!

Woot woot!!

No pictures to show right now.  Noah has unfortunately been battling a cold since this weekend.  It's been snot central at our house (EW!).  But he seems to be on the mend which I am so happy about!  That should make the flight a little better...  On Sunday just so I could make sure I took him to urgent care to have his ears checked.  Thankfully he was free and clear!  Phew!  That was such a load off.  And he's gotten better since then, so I'm not worried about that anymore.

I promise to have loads of pictures to show and hopefully some video when we return.  Daddy will be taking Friday and Monday off as well so I expect there will be a lot of football watching and PS3 playing while we are gone.  I must say that even though he too is bummed about not coming, he is looking forward for some alone time.

See Ya Real Soon!

Would you like to...

Swing on a star?
Carry moonbeams home in a jar?
And be better off than you are?

So here's our little man swingin on a star!

Now how can anyone resist the fun of swinging when it brings this much joy to such a darling little boy? If everyday had this much joy in it, I would be complete.

Fall Family Fun!

It wouldn't be a fall season without a trip to either an apple orchard or a farm for some family fun!

We headed out to the Nelson Family Farm (www.nelsonfarm.com) this weekend with the Turners and Hebners.  It was great to see everyone and we had a blast!  We didn't get to the corn maze, but we did pretty much everything else there.  The kids all had a good time.  Hallie & Ashley showed their cousin Noah how to ride in a wagon, go down a slide, pan for gems, and get your hand nibbled on by a goat!

It's so much fun to watch Noah experience all of these new things.  He's so curious and will just sit and watch the world around him.  That is for 5 minutes until he decides that "hmmm that acorn sure looks tasty!  maybe I'll try it!"  Thank goodness Daddy & Grandma were there to stop him!  This is now going to be a fall tradition for us.  I can't wait until next year when our little dude will be not so little anymore and his cousins might need to try and keep up with him!

I've loaded some of the pictures up, but have many more to go.  Check out the September album for them!!!

9 Months!!

I swear it was just yesterday that I was saying to myself "Only 9 months and I'll get to hold my baby..." Well now I'm saying I can't believe it's been 9 months since Noah has been born! He is such a wonderful blessing for us. We smile, laugh, and love every minute with him. Yes even when he's fussy, screaming, crying, etc... We love him to death. But we do love it even more when he's happy! He had a 9 month well baby visit on his actual 9 month birthday. And as usual he did not disappoint Dr. Marcia. He was all smiley and a good boy for the exam. What made it even better was that he didn't have to get any shots! Yahoo!

So here is our "little" man's stats:
Height - 30 1/4 inches (95%)
Weight - 19 lbs 13 oz (25%)

As you all probably know we are HUGE Disney fans in the Turner household. Imagine that! Would explain the Disney Fairy Tale Wedding we had eh? LOL! Anyways, I have been in dire need of a Disney fix and my wonderful husband has surprised me with a long weekend at the house of Mouse! YIPPEE!!! Unfortunately it will just be Noah and I going, Shawn will be staying home. But as he has told me, he's going to sit and watch football all weekend long and do NOTHING else! LOL! I'm so excited to take Noah to Disney!! We are spending the weekend with some very good friends of mine. They are so pumped to finally be able to meet Noah! I don't think this little guy realizes what he is in for... Plenty of pictures will be taken!

Is it October yet? :)

And what would be a post without a couple of pictures??

Noah's got the sleddin' itch!

Where's Tank?

Family self portrait

Noah's "jail" - the only place he's not getting into trouble

Yay!  No Shots for me today!!

MN Zoo

Last weekend we brought Noah to the MN Zoo. We met up with 2 other couples with their kids. All 3 of the kids did such a good job that day! We had a very nice day. Noah sat at the dolphin tank and followed Seemo (the male dolphin) around when we first got there. He had lots of fun at the Wells Fargo Family Farm with the goats. They nibbled on his little hand and he loved it! It was so cute!

You can see some of the pictures in the MN Zoo album when you click on the Our Pictures link.

I also added a ton more pictures to the August album as well.

This weekend Shawn & I are heading to Valleyfair, he'll do some golfing this weekend, and then on Labor Day we are heading to the State Fair to see Toby Keith with our good friends the Barnes'. It's turning into a tradition for us. They've had some good artists there the past few years. (Now Mom stop shaking your head in dismay... I love all types of music!) It'll be a nice way to spend the last holiday weekend of the summer!

Finally, in Noah news... Someone has decided to learn how to pull himself up on things. Most especially his crib! The little bugger has almost pulled himself out of his crib while I went to grab a new diaper from his closet. Yup, he's THAT fast. Needless to say Shawn shall be lowering his mattress tomorrow so we can avoid any potential disasters. Boys. LOL!

Ta ta for now!

How many...

Teeth can one little boy get at once??? 4! Yes, we are in the midst of a teething frenzy here at our house. Noah is getting in 4 more teeth at the moment. That will bring his total to 8 chompers. Also with that he is finally getting the chewing motion down so he is now a pro at eating puffs, toast, rice krispies, etc... We are just starting to introduce meat, but it's been a rough week so I've put that on hold until next week. Someone thought waking up every 2 hours on Wednesday night was a good idea. Mommy & Daddy had to disagree though. So Shawn and I are very SLEEPY.

This weekend we are heading to the MN Zoo and meeting some friends there. I'm so excited to go! We haven't been in 2 years and they've made some great new changes/updates there. I'm hoping to take Noah's 8 month portraits there as well. He loves animals (especially his big brother Tank) so I'm anxious to see his reaction to the animals there.

And just because he is such a ham. He decided he wanted to try feeding himself last night. Here are the results.

The little dude ended up in the tub after that! LOL!

Busy busy!

I know I'm long overdue (almost 2 weeks... EEK!) for an Turner update! LOL! So here goes!

The craft fair was pretty much a success! Although I only sold a handful (count 5) of the matted 4x6 images, I did get a lot of traffic looking, talking to me about future photos, and taking business cards. I did get contacted the very next morning by a bride who's mother came and looked. At first she thought Shawn's dad was the photographer, but he just sent her in my direction. LOL! The bride looked at my website (see link on side bar), liked what she saw, and contacted me! So this Saturday we are meeting up to discuss her event. Hopefully she'll book and then I'll have 2 weddings coming up to shoot! One is in October and hers is in June 2009. I've gotten some additional hits on my website so we'll see what happens. I'm going to get some business cards printed that have an actual photo on them and see if I can place them at some of the local business in Cologne & Waconia. Out here a lot of people like to use local vendors/businesses whenever possible. So being out in the boon docks just might be in my favor!

Before I go on I have some people I'd like to thank for helping me with the fair.
Shawn - For telling me to just do it and I'm so glad you did! Plus all of the assistance the week leading up to it with getting ready and making sure I wasn't procrastinating! LOL! I love you honey!!

Dad - For helping me get the display setup in the tent and for checking on me during the day at the fair. I love you!

Mom - For helping watch Noah and doing such a good job of putting the matted prints together while we finished up the displays. Also for helping me get organized so I didn't forget anything. And for hanging out with me that afternoon at the fair! I love you!

J - For sweeping in and helping your big sis finish up everything when you had only just arrived the day before and were pooped out! I'm so glad you were here and appreciate everything you did! I love you!!!

Jolyn - For being a great cheerleader & foam core cutter... :D I so appreciate everything you did! Oh and for letting me borrow your cricut cartridges! :) I so owe you a drink tomorrow night.... Love ya babe!

Amanda and Mitch - Thanks for hanging out with me that day! It was nice to have the company!! :) Love you guys!

Barb and Steve - Thank you for coming and supporting me that day. I'm so glad you guys came! I hope you enjoy your road trip to WY! Love you!!

Charles in Charge - Thanks for coming to visit the booth. I was so happy to see you! Love you too!

Jenn - Thank you for being my distance cheerleader and for getting those pics I took of you guys to me on short notice!! Love ya sweetie!

Lisa - For being another one of my distance cheerleaders! Thanks you!!! I love you!

Shira, Gemma, & Nicole - You gals rock! Thanks for helping me out with the website stuff and for cheering me on from afar! It means a lot to me. I can always count on my DMer's! Love you guys!!!!

***Now back to your regularly scheduled updates***
We had a nice visit (albeight short) with Jaime & Charlie. As usual they had a lot going on, but we did get to spend some time with them. So I'll take whatever I can get! They brought Sam-a-lama with and we got to take care of her overnight last Friday while J & C attended Melissa's wedding. She was such a good puppy. She watched over Noah very carefully. :) And her and Tankie get along really well too. There are a few pictures in the August album from the weekend so go check it out!

Finally, this Friday our little bubs will be 8 months old. Where has the time gone??! He is army crawling, psuedo crawling (aka he can make 1 step with regular crawling), sitting up, chattering away, teething (yup, 2 more teefers are in up top!), and waking Mommy & Daddy up at midnight (well just the other day only)! He is the apple of our eyes. It's hard to believe that this time last year we had only found out that he was going to be a he. Now we've got our little dude moving around like crazy! Just like when he was in my belly. Everyone now gets to experience his kicking efforts like I did when he was in utero. LOL! Sucka's!

We've got a fairly laid back month ahead of us. Which is nice considering we've been pretty darn busy lately! I'll leave you with a couple of pictures I took last night of Noah. They crack me up a bit!

Here he is in his Daddy's little rocking chair. He put his leg up there himself. I think he just wanted to chill... :)

A new endeavor...

A lot of you know that photography has been a passion of mine for some time now. Well since I was young it was. Over the past few years I've had the pleasure of shooting a few weddings and I've got one this fall that I'm doing. With that in mind I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and register myself for a booth at our town's local celebration. It has been completely nerve wracking! But with the encouragement of my family & friends I'm feeling better about it each day. The booth is all set. The photos will be here in the next 2 days. The website is almost done. Just a few final touches and I'll be all set to go. I just need to hear from my husband a few hundred more times "What've ya got to lose?" and then I'll be really ready. Up for it honey???

I'll make sure to post some pictures of the booth & such next week.

Movin & Shakin Bacon!

Well lets see here... Since I last posted we spent the weekend up north for the 4th of July (Thanks again Lisa & Ron!!), Noah turned 7 months, has decided to roll to where ever he needs to get too, and is now sitting! Well he's sitting by himself, but not for long periods of time. We're getting there! :)

It's been a fun few weeks! And I'm super excited because in exactly 10 days my sister will be home!!! YAHOOIE!!! We haven't seen Jaime & Charlie since we were down in H-Town at the end of February. So it'll be so nice to see them when they are here.

I added a July album to the slideshow so you can all enjoy!

See ya on the flip side!

2 Years...

2 weeks ago Shawn & I had our 2nd wedding anniversary. This year we celebrated it in Las Vegas! It's so hard to believe that it has been 2 years already. Man does time fly by! We had a very nice time in Las Vegas. It was very hot though. I'll take FL heat over Vegas heat anyday! I do not do well in the "dry" heat. Shawn of course is fine no matter if it's humid or dry. I swear we live in the wrong state. My hubby needs to be in the sun all the time! Anyways.... We relaxed, walked the strip and went into the hotels & casinos, and laid by the pool (or rather sat in the pool to keep cool). We also went to see the Cirque Du Soleil show The Beatles Love at the Mirage resort. It was FABULOUS! Hands down my favorite Cirque show to date! We also ate at Mesa Grill in Ceasars that night before the show. That was perfection! I'm so glad I have the cookbook from there so I can make what we had again. Man it was so good! All in all it was a good trip and it was just long enough of a getaway for us without Noah. By the time the plane landed back home we were ready to see our Bubs! Well Shawn would say I was ready 2 days before that, but I'll plead the 5th on that. ;)

I loaded up our pictures from Vegas into an album so you can view it by clicking on the Our Pictures link and then selecting the Vegas Album!

And in honor of our wedding anniversary I feel the need to post a picture from that most glorious of days!

It was a day I will never forget!

6 1/2 Months!

I'm a bit late in posting this, but Noah is now 6 1/2 months old! He is such a big boy! We are enjoying every minute with him. He's our little bubs, MNB (Mr. No Butt), Lil' Peanut, and Sack of Potatoes... Or as Auntie Jaime just called him this morning... He's a little smushie! :D

Here are the stats from his 6 month well baby visit:
Height: 28 1/2 inches (97%)
Weight: 16 lbs 10 oz (50%)

He did very well with the shots this time. He cried, but as soon as they were done I picked him up and Shawn & I made him giggle. So all was well!

I uploaded his 6 month pictures into the June gallery. Take a peek!

This weekend we are taking him swimming for the first time! He loves his bath so we'll see how he does in slightly cooler water... LOL!

VEGAS BABY!!

Look out Las Vegas! The Turner's are coming! LOL!

Shawn & I head out to Vegas tomorrow for the weekend to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. We are leaving Noah with Grand-mama & Grand-papa (I can't believe I just wrote that Mom... :P). I'm freaking out a little about leaving Noah. Not because of whom I'm leaving him with, but because I've never been without him in the next room overnight. I know I'll be fine once we get on that plane though. At least I'll have Shawn's shoulder to cry on... But we are VERY excited to have a few days off from work! And only have plans on our anniversary and that's it! Otherwise we are just going to get up in the morning and figure out what we want to do that day. So who knows!

Remember... What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! :D

Hopefully lady luck will be on our side!

Cheers!

Yummy yummy in my tummy!

That's what Noah is saying now! He's one lucky little boy to be getting cereal at such a young age! LOL! We started giving Noah rice cereal this week. And I think he likes it! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...

Love is a many splendor thing

This past weekend we had my cousin Ellen's wedding. She looked radiant! She was positively glowing with love and happiness! And I have to thank her husband Rob for that. He has truly made her the happiest I have ever seen her. We wish them nothing but the happiest of times in their marriage!

Here are a few pictures...

Some things change

What has changed may you ask? Well last night I said goodbye to Crate and Barrel. After 4 1/2 years of working there it was time to say goodbye. It was a hard decision to make, but the thought of not being able to spend time with Shawn and Noah was something I wasn't going to give up. That and the gas prices have gone up so much that it wasn't worth the drive anymore either. So now I have the summer off from a part time gig. Which is great! And for once we don't have every single weekend planned out so now we can decide what we want to do for most of them when we get to it! :) So as much as I will miss my friends/co-workers at Crate, I am going to definitely love being home with my family more.

And just for fun... I was fartin' around in photoshop the other day and decided to have some fun with this picture of Noah...

I got some really good pictures of him on Monday. I'll have them loaded sometime this week!

So Annoyed...

At being sick. We can not seem to get rid of the crud in our house. Shawn has now had it 3 or 4 times since winter started. I've had it 2 times and Noah has had it once. Once again this past weekend we were all out for the count. Well I should correct that statement. Shawn & I were out for the count. Noah still has a bit of a cough, but that's it. So thank goodness for that! So on such a beautiful weekend we were cooped up inside sleeping as much as we could. Woo - Hoo. Not.

So because of the crap we had this last weekend and not being able to get stuff done that we wanted to on Sunday we are adding those items to our list of stuff to do this weekend. At least it's a long weekend! We will also be spending the day on Sunday over at Shawn's parents for a BBQ. Noah will get to meet his great-grandpa & great-grandma Turner for the first time and his great Aunt Kim! So that will be fun! :) I'm also going to try and get to taking 5 1/2 month pictures of the little dude this weekend too. I did buy him a super cute shirt & hat for Memorial Day. Maybe I'll have them taken in that. It is supposed to be nice weather for once on Memorial Day. Our first outdoor photo shoot! :D

One more thing! Shawn took Noah for a little ride on the new John Deere last week when he was Mr.Crabby pants from being sick. He loved it! Even though he looks kind of grumpy in the photos (see May 2008 album), he really did love it. :) I see a John Deere Gator in our son's future!

Mother's Day Memories

Mother's day has now come and gone. It was a wonderful day even though it flew by! I was very happy to just be able to spend the day with Shawn & Noah. :) I woke up to find a nice card from my little man with a picture of my gift in it and a very moving card from Shawn. Noah got me a family necklace! It should be here late this week and I'm super excited to get it! Here's a pic I found of it online. Mine will be the same except without the 2 pink ones on the bottom of it. When baby #2 arrives (no I'm not preggers) we can bring it in and have the other one added. He did such a good job!

We didn't make it to the Race for the Cure. It was a bit chilly for Noah especially since he's got a cold right now. Instead we made it to breakfast with Grandma Ellen and my parents. Then we hung out at Mom & Dad's for a bit before we had to leave to get to the MOA to hop in line to meet Bobby Flay!

We were pretty close to the front of the line and he started signing books 15 minutes early so that was really nice! Shawn ended up walking Noah around the mall while I waited since the little Bubba's was getting a bit ansty and needed to go for a walk (So was Daddy). They got back a bit before Bobby started signing so I had Shawn bring Noah down so he could get in the picture with Bobby & I. Well we were going to do the hand off as I got to the end of the line when Shawn called out and showed me Noah. Blow out central! LOL! At the same time Amanda, Mitch, and Kate got there to see us and Shawn flew right by them. Amanda says he was running away from her... LOL! They tag teamed and got Noah all cleaned up and in a new outfit just in time for me to get up to Bobby. So I did get to have him with! Bobby was very nice and told me to make sure I feed Noah well. :P I was grinning from ear to ear the entire time! :D As you can see in this picture below...

We walked around the mall for a bit afterwards with Amanda, Mitch, and Kate. Then we headed home and chilled for the rest of the evening. It was a great day! Oh and I of course sat and read my new cookbook! :D

The other news of the weekend is Noah is now 5 months! Hopefully I'll get a chance to take some 5 month shots of him this coming weekend. Maybe if it's nice out I can take them outside this time. He was really scooting around yesterday with a bit of assistance from Papa Gregg. Dad had his hands behind Noah's feet so he had some traction to get a moving! He scooted across the entire blanket a couple of times! Yay! Now we've just got to get him to sit up by himself... :) Oh and his teeth are really coming in now! I have a feeling by the end of the month they will be all the way up!

That's all for now!

Teefers...

You are reading that right! Mr. Noah has cut his first tooth! The little pearly white has started to peek through on his bottom gum in the front. It's not all the way up yet, but it is definitely getting there.

Otherwise, we've been pretty busy the past few weeks. Last weekend I helped host my cousin Ellen & her fiance's couples shower. It was a lot of fun! It was a definite success! Only 1 more month until the big day is here for them! This weekend isn't looking so bad, but I seem to have caught some kind of bug and woke up this morning with a slight fever. No fun...

Next weekend is mother's day and we are running the Race for the Cure and then hanging out at the Mall of America the rest of the day. One of my favorite Food Network chef's Bobby Flay is going to be at the Barnes and Noble signing his new cookbook that afternoon. I'm so excited!!!

That's all from Turner land...

Boot Scootin Boogie!

Scoot is the imperative word here in the title... Noah has now not only mastered rolling over. Even all the way over the other side! But he is now starting to scoot around on his belly! We really need to baby proof the house. Have I said that before? I think I have. Maybe if I keep on repeating here in the blog we'll actually get around to it! LOL!

We had his 4 month well baby appointment yesterday. He did great until he got poked by the nurse who had the pleasure of giving him his shots. He was not a happy camper! He not only wailed, but he gave the nurse a DIRTY look. It was rather funny even though both Shawn and I were trying to console him.

So here are the updated stats on our "little" man!

Weight: 14 lbs 10 oz (puts him in the 50% group for weight)
Height: 26 1/2 inches (puts him in the 95% group for height)

I'm uploading more pictures to the April album so keep watching for those!

Four Months

Well last week our little man turned 4 months old!  It's hard to believe that he is already 4 months...  I still remember giving birth to him just like it was yesterday!  But then again I guess that is something you don't really forget in only four months!

Noah has now mastered the art of rolling over.  In fact it's all we can do to keep him from rolling over!  There has been quite a few spit ups after eating because as soon as we put him down on his back to play in his play gym or on the blanket after he eats that he spits up a bunch because he just can't help himself!  He has to roll over!  He has also begun to pull himself up as much as he can and we think he's at the beginning stages of teething.  He's drooling a ton and sticking anything he can into his mouth to chew on.

This last weekend we took our four month portraits.  Check out the photo album to see them!

Here is my favorite pic of them...
We got some video of him rolling over.  Look for that to appear soon!

April Showers....???

We went up north last weekend to visit Brian and Val in Brainerd.  It's so nice having them close by!  Well 2 1/2 hours away instead of 5 is a LOT closer!  We had a great time hanging out at their awesome new home!  We also went up to Aunt Lisa & Uncle Ron's on Saturday to drop off a package and visit for a bit.  Then we went to see where Brian and Val work now up there.  Otherwise we just hung out and visited!

Here are a few pictures from this weekend.

March Madness!

It's spring isn't it??  I swear the snow just won't go away!  Now ya'll know we love the snow since we are snowmobilers, but man alive!  It's officially spring!  I'd like to start enjoying the sun and spending time outdoors without having to bundle up.  So I'm just going to pray that the nice weather will be here soon...  I hope you all join me in that effort!

Here are a few recent pictures for you all to enjoy.

And that will bring us to the end of March!

Holy Crap I'm 30!

The birthday card fairy left me 2 lovely b-day cards this morning. One from my adorable little man and one from my wonderful hubby. It was a nice way to start the day! Mom asked me this morning if I felt any different now that I'm the big 3-0. You know I really don't! It's weird to think that I am 30 though. You know when you're a kid and all you want to be is grown up? It was hard back then to think that I'd ever reach 30. It's one of those milestone birthdays. Now that it's here, I think it'll be fun! I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world, I have a beautiful son who I love to piece's, I have a great family who love, care, and support each other no matter what life brings, and I have some pretty awesome friends who I care about a lot! Who could ask for more???

Life is good, and it's only getting better!

Live your life to the fullest... As Tim McGraw says live like you were dying.... That song really does have a great meaning to it. Enjoy your life!

And now this philospher is done.... :)
Happy Birthday to me!

Ocean Adventures!

While in Houston we took a little trip to Galveston to see the ocean.  We also wanted Noah to experience the wonderful ocean water for the first time.  Galveston is not Cancun in regards to water temp in February...

Enjoy!

I'm having fun with iMovie on my new laptop.  It's so cool!  Since I haven't finished transferring over all of my data from the other PC I'm still having to use both.  Hopefully in the next week I'll be fully transferred and just on my sweet new ride!  It's so pretty!!!!  {Yes I'm a geek in love with her new fancy techy toy}

Updates!

Life has been going full throttle for us the past month. We went to Houston to visit Jaime & Charlie. It was a blast!!! We're hoping to make it an annual trip! And since we've been home we have had a lot going on every weekend. A Birthday party for our neice's, a wedding celebration for my uncle & new aunt, I started back working at Crate & Barrel (the new store is BEA-utiful!), and now we are approaching Easter! Oh and the fact that I'm turning the big 3-0 in one week is also there.... But more on that a little later.

Noah is growing so fast! He turned 3 months a week and a half ago. He's a whoppin 13 lbs 10 oz and 25 inches long! So in just over a month he's gained a pound and grown an inch. Unreal! It is truly amazing to watch him every day. He now laughs at practically everything and can rotate himself around until he's stuck in between the arches on his play gym. He's also very close to being able to roll over. And when he has tummy time he tries to bring his legs up underneath him so he can move a bit more. I swear it won't be long until he's crawling! He still loves to be snuggled and I am so thankful for that! He makes a great napping partner on the weekends. Just ask Shawn! Most afternoon's you'll find them both zonked out on the couch! :)

Check out the new pictures. The slideshow will be the current months pictures.

Happy Easter!
